Service 02
Dedicated engineers, on a Saudi contract.
Vetted software engineers who join your team under a local Saudi B2B agreement. You direct their work. We carry the sourcing, the contracting, the compliance and the payroll.
Why this instead of hiring
The roadmap does not wait for a visa
Direct hiring for specialised engineering roles here commonly takes three to six months, when the search succeeds at all.
Recruitment surveys put the share of Saudi employers who cannot fill technical roles at around half. On top of that, adding expatriate headcount moves your Nitaqat position, and the 2026 cycle removed the Yellow band, so slipping now blocks visas and permit renewals.
Our model is dedicated remote capacity from European technology hubs, delivered through a local Saudi B2B agreement. You are buying a service, not employing a person, so there is no effect on your quota and no visa to process.
| Hiring directly | Mind Links | |
|---|---|---|
| Time to onboard | 3–6 months, including sourcing, visas and relocation | 4–8 weeks |
| Effect on your Nitaqat band | Adds expatriate headcount to your quota | None. A B2B service contract, not employment |
| Contract and invoicing | Local labour contract, GOSI, benefits, end of service | Local SAR invoice from a Saudi CR, 15% VAT you reclaim |
| Withholding tax | — | 0% — you are paying a Saudi company |
| If the fit is wrong | A labour-law termination | 10-day evaluation window, then 30 days’ notice |
| If you want to keep them | — | Buy-out terms, agreed in the contract |
Who you get
Titles that mean the same thing to both of us
We use the US ladder rather than local title inflation, so your CTO or product lead knows exactly what level of autonomy they are buying.
| Title | What they do without being asked |
|---|---|
| Software Engineer | Autonomous feature work. Writes clean code, integrates APIs, delivers against a specification without day-to-day oversight |
| Senior Software Engineer | Designs complex modules, runs code review, optimises performance, unblocks the non-trivial problems |
| Staff Software Engineer | Cross-service architecture, scalability, and the infrastructure dependencies nobody else wants to own |
| Principal / Solutions Architect | Designs the ecosystem from scratch, chooses the stack, sets the technical strategy |
Disciplines we place
- Backend and full-stack · Node, Python, Java, Go, .NET
- Mobile · iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter
- Cloud and DevOps · AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes
- Data engineering and analytics
- Solutions and system architects
- QA and test automation
- Product design and UX
- Technical delivery managers
English, not Arabic. Every engineer is screened for spoken English at B2 or C1 — fluent conversation without an interpreter. If you need Arabic-language delivery, that is our software development service, where the documentation and the interface are bilingual.
Process
You interview. You approve. Nobody arrives unseen.
- Intake and scope. The gap, the stack, the team they join, and how you will judge them at the end of month one. If the requirement is still broad, our technical people help you write the role profile.
- Three layers of vetting. Recruiting screen and background check, spoken English at B2 or C1, then a hard-skills assessment by our own technical hiring managers.
- Your final interview. We present two or three vetted candidates. You interview them exactly as you would an internal hire, and you make the decision.
- Access before day one. Between signature and start we work an access checklist with your IT: VPN, repositories, credentials. An engineer waiting for a password is an engineer you are paying for.
- A 10-day evaluation window. If the engineer misses the technical criteria you set, we re-source at no further placement fee.
- Monthly review. What was delivered, what is blocking, and whether the size of the team is still right.

Terms, before you ask for them
- Delivery model
- Dedicated remote capacity from European technology hubs, contracted through Mind Links under Saudi CR 7054801407
- Billing
- A daily rate against an 8-hour working day. Priced per role and seniority, quoted on request
- Currency and tax
- SAR, plus 15% VAT you reclaim from ZATCA as input tax. No withholding tax, because you are paying a Saudi company
- Term
- 3 months to start, so delivery has time to mean something. Rolling monthly after that
- Payment
- The first cycle is paid in advance, before the engineer starts. Later cycles are settled 10 days before the month begins
- Reserved time
- Dedicated capacity is booked and billed in full. If your side blocks the work, we escalate to your delivery lead inside 24 hours rather than sit on it
- Working week
- Sunday to Thursday, written into each engineer’s agreement before they start. Friday and Saturday are the weekend
- Overtime
- Beyond 8 hours, 1.5×. Weekends and national holidays, 2×. Only on written approval from someone on your side who can give it
- Notice
- 30 days either way
- Replacement
- Free inside the evaluation window, and once per role in any six months. Up to 3 days of handover overlap at our cost
- Confidentiality and IP
- Mutual NDA before the first interview. All code and artefacts transfer to you once the corresponding invoices are settled
- Contract to hire
- You may take an engineer onto your own payroll by agreement. The buy-out is 60 daily rates
Straight talk
Three commitments, and one thing we will not pretend
- You make the hiring decision We do not send unvetted profiles and we do not push anyone onto your team. We screen; you interview and approve the exact person who touches your codebase.
- We protect your budget by escalating, not by absorbing Dedicated capacity means the days are reserved and paid. What we owe you in return is that a blocked engineer becomes your delivery lead’s problem within a day, not a line on next month’s invoice.
- We will tell you when you do not need this Sometimes the honest answer is a fixed-price project instead of two engineers for six months. That answer is worth less money to us, which is why you can trust it.
What we will not pretend: this is a commodity. There are twenty firms in Riyadh offering it and several are cheaper. What differs is who carries the risk — the contract is Saudi, the invoice is in SAR from a local CR, and the payment, compliance and replacement exposure sits with us rather than with a freelancer you found yourself.
